The Hyundai ix20 - on sale in November We got teased with the next instalment of the Hyundai world domination plan – the Hyundai ix20 – a few weeks before the Paris Motor Show, but only as a sketch tease. We had to wait another couple of weeks to get a real photo of the ix20 and then a reveal at Paris. Mazda CX-7 gets sporty makeover for Europe

Although the five-seat 4x4 will initially come with a 258bhp version of the Mazda 6 MPS's turbocharged 2.3-litre four, European market demands for diesel power mean Mazda will unleash a new 2.2-litre version of its four-cylinder diesel. This engine will be hooked up to a slick six-speed manual or five-gear automatic transmission.

Drivers 'concerned at lack of goodwill'

MOTORISTS have been left concerned at the lack of goodwill among other drivers during this festive period, according to research from Halfords Autocentres. The levels of ‘aggressive, impatient and inconsiderate’ driving increase at this time of year, according to the survey of an unspecified number of car owners. Nearly a quarter (23%) of respondents said that things like lane hogging, failing to indicate properly - or at all - and not letting other motorists out at junctions was a real problem at this time of year.
